Sean Godsell

Sean Godsell (born 1960, Melbourne, Australia) is an Australian architect.

Godsell studied at the University of Melbourne, graduating in 1984. He also undertook postgraduate study at RMIT. From 1986 to 1988 he worked in the London office of Sir Denys Lasdun, returning to Australia in 1989. In 1994, Godsell established his own practice in Melbourne.

His work has attracted international attention, especially Future Shack (1999), a cabin constructed of a standard seafaring ISO shipping container. Future Shack was shown in New York, Paris and London as a finalist in the Architecture for Humanity Exhibition.
