Sean Cahill is a hurling player from County Laois in Ireland, who plays for Harps GAA.

He usually plays in defence for the Harps and in 2003 was part of the Harps team that won the Laois Minor Hurling Championship title for the first time since 1997.

The following year he played at corner back for his club junior team who won the Laois junior A title. In 2006 Sean was part of the Harps team that won the Laois U21 Hurling Championship.

In 2007 he was named captain of the Harps intermediate team.

From an early age Sean has been singled out as a leader.[citation needed] His levelheadedness and determination has prompted many different managers to make him team captain.[citation needed] He has sometimes been compared to his idol Roy Keane.[citation needed] Sean has been Captain of the following teams:
