[edit] Biography
[edit] Growing Up
Sean Bugler was born in Ft. Belvior, Virginia, to his parents Andrew and Judith Bugler. Both of his parents are Catholic, and he has one brother and two sisters. In 1999, his parents divorced, putting his life into a new perspective. He quckly succumbed to the stress of the divorce and was admitted to the Balboa Naval Hospital several times for multiple reasons, including anaphylactic shock. Bugler, soon after his recovery, developed a minor interest in stand-up comedy, finding it helped him to find happiness in dark times. His interest quickly grew as he began writing his own material at age 10. However, he soon moved away with his his family to Okinawa, Japan while his father served a tour in the Far East with the United States Marines. He currently lives there where he attends Kubasaki High School as a senior in the graduating class of 2008.
[edit] Career
Although still under 18, Bugler has become an accomplished comedian in such a short time. Beginning his career with performances at the small Cafe' 101, he slowly but surely developed a comfort with being on stage without memorized lines and planned movements. By early 2007, Bugler had developed his own comedic style, using vocal characteristics, with bursts of over the top action, covered with otherwise minimal movements. In December of 2007, he embarked on the NorCal-SoCal Tour, performing at several small comedy clubs and other venues in his hometown of San Francisco, as well as places in the Bay Area. Unfortunately, the final part of his tour was cut short due to his age and inability to travel to L.A. alone. However, he had finally established himself, not only as a Bay Area comedian, but an international comedian as well. He concluded his tour with perhaps one of his best US performances, the New Years Eve Opener 2008, where he emceed for a local new years eve party in the upper class bay area. Today, Sean Bugler is a fast-rising comedian with enormous potential. He returns to the United States in the summer of 2008, where he plans to attend college, while honing his stand-up skills over the course of the next few years. He has currently begun work on his first comedy album.
