Sean Bonner is a Los Angeles-based web designer and co-founder of Bode Media, Inc., notable as the creators of the international, local-journalist Metroblogging websites. Bonner is an iconic American blogger[citation needed] and proponent of independent internet journalism.
His experience creating Internet "memes" has led to his consulting career. Clients to date include Yahoo!, Suicide Girls, the LAPD, Bizrate and Shopzilla. He is currently a resident advisor for The Groop, a Los-Angeles based interactive/branding firm. He is an advocate of blogging as new-wave journalism and frequent public speaker on the subject.
Prior to his current work as a speaker and consultant, Bonner served as Senior Designer for Playboy.com and Creative Director for Victory Records. Bonner has also founded a record label (Toybox Records) and an art gallery called sixspace.
