Sean Barrett (born August 5, 1967) is an independent game designer and game and graphics programmer. Barrett is also a musician, writer and photographer. He resides in Oakland, California.
In 1994, Barrett began work with Looking Glass Studios where he contributed to the System Shock series, the Thief series, Flight Unlimited series and Terra Nova: Strike Force Centauri.
Since 2000, as an independent game developer, Barrett is probably best known for the Chromatron series of games published under his Silver Spaceship label, and his award-winning interactive fiction. Also, Barrett is one of the co-founders of the Indie Game Jam.
