Sea Sonic Electronics Co., Ltd., is a computer power supply manufacturer and retailer, formerly limited to OEM hardware. Antec, Corsair Memory and other notable computer hardware companies sell power supplies which are rebranded or based upon power supplies from Sea Sonic.
In 2002, Sea Sonic established a wholly owned subsidiary in California, USA to provide retail channels for computer power supplies manufactured by the Taiwanese company, and also to provide technical support.
Power supplies from the company have gained a positive reputation in the computer enthusiast community. The retail units and rebranded derivatives have been recognized by various reputable review websites for their high build quality and efficient performance at relatively low noise levels.
Sea Sonic uses electrolytic capacitors from the Japanese Nippon Chemi-Con.
