Sea Hags is the first and only album of sleaze glam metal band, Sea Hags, it was released in 1989 for Chrysalis Records. During recording, several members were changed because the label and the band didn't think they were capable of producing the right sound. After the album was released, the band went on a European tour where they promptly broke up.
There were thoughts by the members to reform in 1991, but when Chris Schlosshardt died of a heroin overdoes, the band's fate was sealed. His death also contributed to the dissolution of another band, The Nymphs. His death drove girlfriend and lead singer Inger Lorre back to New Jersey.
