Seán Sherlock

Seán Sherlock (born 6 December 1972) is an Irish Labour Party politician. He is currently a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Cork East constituency. He was elected in the 2007 general election succeeding his father, Joe Sherlock who retired.
He graduated from NUI Galway in 1998 with a degree in Economics and Politics. He worked as an assistant to Labour Party MEP Proinsias De Rossa in his office in the European Parliament. He replaced his father on Mallow Town Council and Cork County Council in 2003 and was re-elected to both in June 2004.
