Seán Mór Ó Dubhagáin

Seán Mór Ó Dubhagáin (d.1372) was an Irish Gaelic poet.

Sean was a member of the bardic family Baile Uí Dhubhagáin (O'Dugan), near Loughrea, County Galway. He was an ollamh to the O'Kelly clan and recorded Irish clan history up until the Norman invasion of Ireland. Ó Dubhagáin made a pilgrimage to St. Columba’s tomb and lived the rest of his life at a monastery on Loughrea.[1]
