Seán Ardagh (Irish: Seán Ardalhaidh;[1] born November 1947) is an Irish Fianna Fáil politician. He is a TD for the constituency of Dublin South Central. A chartered accountant, Ardagh was first elected to Dáil Éireann in the 1997 general election and retained his seat at the 2002 general election and in the 2007 general election. He has served as Chairman of a number of Dáil committees and is a frequent media commentator.
A Public Representative since 1985 when he was first elected to Dublin County Council and remained a member of this council until 1999. He was elected to Dublin City Council in 1999 and remained a councillor until 2003.
