Shlomo Dubnov is an Israeli composer and researcher in computer music and hypermedia. He is currently an associate professor in the department of music at UCSD. He was a researcher in Institute for Research and Coordination of Acoustics and Music (IRCAM) in Paris and faculty member in the department of communication systems engineering in Ben-Gurion University (BGU) in Israel. He holds PhD in Computer Science from Hebrew University of Jerusalem, MSc in EE from Israel Institute of Technology (Technion) and B.Mus in music composition from Rubin Academy in Jerusalem. His works include poly-spectral analysis of musical timbre, computer audition, machine improvisation and computation modeling of style.

Shlomo Dubnov is a Talpiot program graduate.
