[edit] Trojan Horse found
My AVG Antivirus found a Trojan Horse in the file sdpreadme.exe which is found in "C:\Program Files\SDP Multimedia\SDP Downloader". Apparently this file is not the main application file of SDP Multimedia. SDP seems to continue to run properly from SDP.exe. Trojan horse found: Clicker.ELI
Confirmed (ViRobot Pro): Trojan.Win32.DSS.42905 http://www.symantec.com/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2002-042413-3031-99
Same here. What jerks. No wonder it's closed source.--74.61.4.8 07:42, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
I've been using SDP for a long time and I haven't had any problems with trojans. I checked the registry for the presence of a trojan, as indicated in the URL above, but found nothing. Thus, it seems to simply be a false alarm. 82.197.2.180 (talk) 20:10, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

- Message from SDP team - guys, this code is totally clean!! We had to get AVG to remove their pattern signature from their database to resolve the false detection. Its done now, so go scan it again, and update your virus checker! Cheers. Paul.

PS - if you still are not convinced, then simply delete the readme.exe file. The whole book is available on the SDP website anyway. http://sdp.ppona.com —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.22.133.227 (talk) 15:39, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
