Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Engineering and Technology (also called SDMCET), located at Dharwad in Karnataka, India, earlier affiliated to Visveswaraiah Technological University (VTU), Belgaum (Karnataka) is now an autonomous body. It is the first Institute of North Karnataka, India to get accreditation for all its courses by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi, India. It was established in the 1979 CE and until the setting up of VTU, the college was affiliated to Karnatak University, Dharwad.

SDMCET, founded in 1979, ranks among top 5% (91 out of 1350) of Indian engineering colleges recently.[4] The college has been granted autonomous status.[5]

The SDMCET campus is known by name of Dhavalagiri.

The SDM College of Engineering and Technology is located at Dhavalagiri on the Dharwad - Kalghatgi road. The college is at a distance of 4 Kilometers from Dharwad Bus station. The Belgaum (Goa ) - Bangalore railway line touches a border of the college campus. The college is at distance of 2 Kilometers from Dharwad railway station and 15 kilometers from Hubli.
