[edit] Image:Tortilla_Wall_1.jpg listed for deletion

Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as Image:Tortilla_Wall_1.jpg has been listed for speedy deletion because you selected a copyright license type implying some type of restricted use, such as for non-commercial use only, or for educational use only or for use on Wikipedia by permission. While it might seem reasonable to assume that such files can be freely used on Wikipedia, a non-profit website, this is in fact not the case. Please do not upload any more files with these restrictions on them, because content on Wikipedia needs to be compatible with the GNU Free Documentation License, which allows anyone to use it for any purpose, commercial or non-commercial.

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it, but use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If you have any questions please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. Conscious 06:17, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Edit it!

Hi, I read the comment you left on Talk:Trachonitis (I've done what you suggested) and I wonder why you didn't edit it yourself? This is a useful edit and it should be done immediately without consulting others. It's not a major edit either, it's only a fix. So, be bold, and edit on! Orionist 20:25, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
Of course you are right. I also wanted to find an intenral link to the referenced text in Luke. I figured wiki somehow had a direct way to do that but couldn't find out withing 20 clicks how, so I left it for someone more knowledgeable. Sdenny123

[edit] Images

Hey Sdenny123. I find it a little bizarre that the license is still allowed to be selected, and I'm not sure why. Anyway, is it possible for you to reupload the image under a more appropriate license? If you don't have it anymore, I can undelete it and you can select a better license. – Riana talk 14:10, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Redirect of John and Judas (Card Game)

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on John and Judas (Card Game), by CultureDrone (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because John and Judas (Card Game) is a redirect to a non-existent page (CSD R1).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting John and Judas (Card Game), please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 22:39, 17 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use disputed for Image:Guide Magazine cover.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Guide Magazine cover.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:07, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

I hate bots. The article that used this image was renamed and the wiki is to lame to adapt to such a thing and the bot was to lame to follow the renamed link. Sdenny123 17:39, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
