Scythrophrys sawayae is a species of frog in the Leptodactylidae family. It is monotypic within the genus Scythrophrys. It is endemic to Brazil. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and intermittent freshwater marshes. It is threatened by habitat loss.
