- "all the scuny team look like there in there early years"
With three homophones to choose from, you'd think he would have used the correct one at least once, if only by accident... -Grammaticus Repairo 06:56, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Squad Template
Link to squad template - Click here - it took me ages to work out how to change this! Darb 17:53, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Ron Ashman
Hi - I've put up an article about Ron Ashman. I have plenty of details from his time with Norwich, but hardly any from his two spells as manager of Scunthorpe. If anyone has any details or information that they can add, please do so. Thanks. User:Demonicanglian
[edit] Importance Rating
I gave this a mid-rating, it seems to fulfil the requirements of giving specific details of Scunthorpe United, which is only a section of football, but seems more important than say, some of the smaller clubs or concepts of the game, so much so as not to be 'low' at any rate. [edit] Crest
Where's it go? Spike iron 13:33, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Quality Rating
I've given this article a mid-rating, as it gives all the info people would want to know in a clear, concise manner. Trebor13 14:49, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Userbox
I've created a userbox for use on user pages of iron fans. Y Griffiny indeed. Spike iron 22:42, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Scunthoprpe.gif
Image:Scunthoprpe.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:30, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
- I think I've sorted this now. Can someone check? Da-rb 17:20, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Neutrality
Is there a reason for the neutrality tag? Shouldn't there be a message on here by the OP? Da-rb (talk) 22:06, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
- The article is largely negative. There is too much emthasis on the team's misfortunes and there is a general level of informal tone which is predominantly negative. Tom Green (talk) 18:04, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
This appears to be a habit of yours thomas as you have posted similar on the 'Scunthorpe' site. This maybe your home town and the club that you support but you have to accept the good with the bad, even (especially more so) if the the good isn't forthcoming. Perhaps, because it isn't there? Wikipedia isn't there to present a pro-bias, just how people report it as long as such posts are valid. Just because you don't like such comments, doesn't mean they should be criticied. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.252.226.217 (talk) 16:05, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
