Talk:Sculptor Group

[edit] Categories
From Wikipedia:Categorisation#When_to_use_categories:
- “An article should not be in both a category and its subcategory, e.g. Microsoft Office is in Category:Microsoft software, so should not also be in Category:Software. An exception would be an article that defines a category, and so is itself a parent article of subtopics as well as one in a series of like topics - for instance, placing Ohio in both Category:Political divisions of the United States and Category:Ohio.”
So this article should be in both Category:Sculptor Group and Category:Galaxy clusters. —Rory ☺ 11:58, Sep 6, 2004 (UTC)
- Although none of the other Galaxy clusters are formed that way, they only appear in the subcategory, not in the Galaxy clusters category. Should the exception be used, as it is not used for any others now.132.205.15.4 20:33, 7 Sep 2004 (UTC)
The other galaxy clusters should have Category:Galaxy clusters added. It shouldn't be necessary to do them all at once unless you feel like it; they'll get done eventually. That's the wiki way. —Rory ☺ 00:17, Sep 8, 2004 (UTC)
