In the US, partisan witnesses to election processes are commonly called "Poll-watchers". Where is "Scrutineer" used? --Sommerfeld 18:08, 2005 Feb 15 (UTC)
The UK usage of teller seems unrelated to any form of scrutiny -- I've just rewritten/expanded the explanation of what tellers are in the UK -- so I'm not sure merging makes sense Roy Badami 21:01, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
