Scribble Mural Comic Journal is the first full-length album from A Sunny Day in Glasgow, released on compact disc format on February 13, 2007 by Notenuf Records. There are plans for the album to be released on vinyl sometime in 2008.[1]
The album received widespread critical acclaim, including a "Recommended" distinction from Pitchfork Media[2]. Outtakes from the album were released in July 2007 as the Tout New Age EP.[3]

The album was recorded in Ben's apartment and the Daniels' siblings parents' houses. Ben Daniels has stated that the album was recorded by the band and that it was the first time they ever attempted to record a body of work.[4][5]
