Screaming Lord Sutch and the Savages was a British rock group from the early Sixties, sporting an ever-changing line-up of musicians and a taste for horror themes and zany humor. Some regard them as forerunners of both The Sex Pistols and Monty Python. The group was founded by David Sutch.
[edit] Personnel
Of the many musicians that would play with the Savages over the years, some would go onto major stardom in their own right, most notably Keith Moon, Ritchie Blackmore and Paul Nicholas.
