ScottSummers here.
I've surfed Wikipedia for a long time, and what a resource! I wanted to give back to the community and that's when I registered.
I do have expertise in several areas, but don't always have the time to write long articles. I decided to get involved fast, and decided that a quick way to help out would be with "stubs", those pieces of Wikipedia information that are not yet full-fledged articles, but could be if enough people joined in.
That's why my very first contribution was in the article on the Kenyan runner Hezahiah Nyamau, whose article was #1 in the main list of most-wanted stubs.
It's a start!
