[edit] Channels

Why change #malay to #dutch? both are equally valid. perhaps we need a list of scoutlink channels? --ender 17:13, 23 October 2005 (UTC) -Coxswain suggested the change as #malay is a developing channel with not a lot of users while #dutch is more widely known and recognised --Paul 21:45, 23 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Naming

Should the L in ScoutLink be capitolized in the title? --ender 17:30, 23 October 2005 (UTC)

-yes, Coxswain mentioned this earlier - it is ScoutLink and not Scoutlink - but I didn't know how to change it --Paul 21:45, 23 October 2005 (UTC) -- That would be Move... I cant do it because my account is to new. used to have another account, but never used it and i think it fell off the server. prehaps put in on the requested moves list. --ender 00:43, 24 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Requested Move

requested the move --Paul 22:55, 24 October 2005 (UTC)

By the power vested in me, you shall go to the ball! Er, I mean...the page is moved. Rob Church Talk 15:26, 3 November 2005 (UTC)

Thanks Rob --Paul 21:04, 8 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] History

I added the History of ScoutLink from ScoutLink.net.au and also some external links to ScoutLink regional websites and also an Acknowledgements area --Paul 21:47, 23 October 2005 (UTC)

-Do we have Ozzles' permission to use his history? I doubt it would be a problem, but getting permission is apropreat i think. --ender 00:43, 24 October 2005 (UTC)

- Removed History until such time as permission for use has been granted by Ozzles and ScoutLink Australia --Paul 20:27, 24 October 2005 (UTC)

- Permission granted by OzzlesQS --Paul 11:48, 6 December 2005 (UTC)

- I fixed up some of the dates and did minor rewording Tely nz 10:00, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

- Regarding the history: Couldn't we just add the ScoutLink Australia as the source, and thats all (ooops, it's already there). I mean, either a part of a document is GFDL, or it's not, and it's not acceptable to be here. Wikipedia is NOT a place for showing up ego. Acoster 17:08, 11 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Redirects

Added all the redirects I can think of --Paul 22:32, 23 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Acronyms

How about a list of acronyms ppl always ask aobut? ex: wb, bbl, gtg, brb... or a link to somwhere where they are allready listed --ender 23:23, 24 October 2005 (UTC)

- That is a go for that. Link to here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Internet_slang would be best i think. --Paul 23:55, 24 October 2005 (UTC)

--Just the first pageof that has tons of acyonyms not used on scoutlink... and a bunch that are not apropreat for scoutlink. i sugest not using that list--ender 00:47, 25 October 2005 (UTC)

--Roger that --Paul 22:30, 3 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Discussion

Add any additional comments

Its only spelling... at the moment I could change it, Exept there is a redirect there and I dont think I can delete that page in order to more this one to that location. --ender 03:06, 31 October 2005 (UTC)

When the destination page only contains a redirect to the original page, then you can perform the move. However, in this case, the destination page had additional history. I deleted it and perform the move; then set DisambigBot on it. Rob Church Talk 15:15, 3 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Rules

Need more detail. For example, a possible definition for flooding: "Flooding can be defined as more than four lines in four seconds, repeating the same messages, posting "random" material, or any amount of large unconstructive text." Opinions? --ender 03:06, 31 October 2005 (UTC)

If ya wanna write more then you may. I agree that it gives people better understanding. --Paul 21:04, 8 November 2005 (UTC)

I have changed the rules section --Paul 21:56, 19 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Events

I added more details to the events - namely dates and locations of OZANZ and NorthAm IRL Camps as I remember them Tely nz 10:05, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

Thanks Tely --195.137.21.95 12:10, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
