I'm concerned that this article is titled "Scottish Criminal Record Office", yet seems to be mostly about the negative press that SCRO has received in recent years.

As one of the major sources of background checks in Scotland and the United Kingdom, SCRO do a great deal of work in ensuring that those who would be a risk to children and vulnerable adults do not get into jobs they should not.
