[edit] Wrestlemania
I hope the rumor is true about him teaming with Tommy Dreamer at Mania because the ECW brand really needs some ECW Originals. WWE Should have never released Sabu and Sandman. And they should have doen everything they could to keep Rob Van Dam.
- Honestly I couldnt see this happening but it would be awesome if it did. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.30.241.250 (talk) 21:13, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Triva
I keep putting it up and some keeps taking it down Raven has Never tapped out before in his career so i wish the people would just leave it alone.
Correction: September 28th Impact Joe made him tap. haha ima nerd...
He tapped out before that when he wrestled CM Punk in their first match together in ROH.138.163.0.43 11:09, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Discussion
- Add any additional comments
- It really depends on whether Raven himself used his real name in any outside endeavors - such as his comic book writing. In any case, Raven appears to be the most recognizable. kelvSYC 05:53, 1 July 2006 (UTC)
He does own the name Raven for wrestling purposes
This page says Raven has recently signed with WWE... This is NOT true. [1] --Dubhagan 14:56, 4 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fan Site
Scott "Raven" Levy's fansite, Raven Dedication, has been dead for a while now and I've tried removing the link once or twice before only to have someone put it back and send me a message for removing a link for no reason. My opinion is that it was a decent fansite but it's dead now and there's no reason to keep the link. It just leads to a search site. Once again I'll try to delete it.
[edit] Ravenator and Fade to Black
Isthereany confirmation on the "Ravenator" and "Fade to Black" names, much less their usage as finishers? I've never heard of the names myself, nor have I heard of Raven winning matches with them.Sevenzeroone 23:17, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Picture
The Picture realy doesn't look right and what happened to the picture of him in the Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back T-Shirt??--Yowiki 03:05, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Jewish
I beleive Raven is jewish. Since he is one of only a very few jewish pro wrestlers (goldberg is the only other one I know offhand) I beleive this deserves mention in the trivia section.69.9.30.57 05:59, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
Yes, Scott Levy (aka Raven) is Jewish. So is Kevin Nash, Brian Pillman, Colt Cabana, Dean Malenko, DDP, Kane, Marc Mero, Paul Heyman, Randy Savage, A-Train, Brian Knobbs, Billy Kidman, Steve Blackman and Michael Hayes.138.163.0.42 14:10, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
I remember reading that they referenced him as a Jewish athlete on an episode of Jeopardy last month in a question. TonyFreakinAlmeida 03:04, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Picture change
I would suggest a picture change. The one featured is VERY out of date. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Andy1292 (talk • contribs) 03:24, 28 January 2007 (UTC).
- I updated it to a slightly more recent photo than his WWF days, and also a better shot of his face, not just a pose from a distance. Yagobo79 17:21, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
I'd also like to add Raven is 6'1 and weighs more like 240-250 he hasnt weighed 220 since he was in WCW the first time around when he feuded with Brian Pillman for the Light Heavyweight title
[edit] The truth about fade to black
Back in my vandal days I first called raves sleeper the fade to black becuase it sounded cool. He has never called it that so it is best removed. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Andy1292 (talk • contribs) 16:43, 28 January 2007 (UTC).
[edit] Disambiguation
Do we still need the note at the top of the page about Scott Levy (actor)? It should be self-evident from the title of this article that it's about the wrestler... --Dave. 12:38, 12 February 2007 (UTC)
- Someone moved the article for no reason. The link at top is reason enough for the article to not be moved. TJ Spyke 05:10, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
-
- I moved the page, and for good reason. The are two persons both named Scott Levy. Neither has priority to the name. Why should somebody searching for the actor have to go through the page on the wrestler. The best solution is to move this page to Scott Levy (wrestler). TJ Spyke has reverted my edit however. Sander123 13:05, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Raven's Tattoos
Enough needless fancruft relating to some alleged conversation about tattoos with Terry Taylor. It is not encyclopaedic and not needed on this page. Suriel1981 14:13, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] RAW DEAL
I'm just glad that the article mentions how Raven was suppose to get a job on the writting team and that could be the reason (everyone knows it is the reason) that Raven was "jobbed" away from WWE. Any "real" wrestling fan knows that Raven's in ring talent far exceeds most wrestlers that the WWE are currently pushing. Raven is one of the few performers that can actually wrestle on the mat or wrestle hardcore with weapons and without any rules. Why doesn't the WWE ever listen to their fans but yet we still watch the crap. If the second half of Raven's second run wasn't a RAW deal than I don't know what is.
[edit] WWF Hardcore Titles
27? I could have swore it was 32 or something. I will check on this to make sure.Indie -0 15:12, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Sections
I think this article has too many sections. If he went back and forth between ECW, WCW, and WWE and had more than one stay in each then there's gotta be a better way to organize. Perhaps make one section for ECW, one for WCW, and one for WWE, or organize it by years like is done on, say Edge's profile.----La Parka Your Car 20:52, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] ROH
Shouldn't this have more on his ROH career? It has nothing except what theme he used there. It could at least get a paragraph, amongst the other indie work he has done since WWE. If someone could write that, that would be great. User:60.241.214.74 01:51 15 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Personal Life
Wow he must keep a very low profile because nothing on here mentions his personal life. Not even family or other things. Is there anything out there?
- He got married in January 2007 to a model. This is all verifiable via his website. Yagobo79 17:21, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Crucifixion Angle
I saw a YouTube video a little while ago, where Kurt Angle himself claims on the "Rise and Fall of ECW" DVD that he was at the event. In his own words, "It offended me so badly that I got up in the middle of the show, and I went straight to Paul Heyman, and I said, 'I'm leaving right now, I want you to send me my check, and if I'm TV with that crucifixion, you'll be hearing from my lawyers." Also on the same DVD is footage of Raven's apology where he claims that he did it without the knowledge of anyone in ECW. Don't know how true THAT part is. --Unexplainedbacon 14:53, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
- What is your point? Mshake3 22:16, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Other Media
"Raven is a drinker" doesn't seem very relevent to the heading in the section, it would be better in "Personal Life", or to be removed from the article altogether.

[edit] WWF/E Championship reigns
Apparently, Raven won the Intercontinental Championship on two occasions. When? Debasemasonsgrog 22:58, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
- When? Never. Yagobo79 17:21, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
He has never won the Intercontinental Championship. I think the only championship Raven held in the WWE was the WWE Hardcore Championship. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.213.165.234 (talk) 20:59, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Image
I have updated the image to a more recent, accurate, and closer shot of Raven which I feel is much more suited to an encyclopedia article than the picture from a distance of him posing on the ropes in his WWF days. This has been reverted once already, but I would appreciate if the new picture was left intact unless there is a better explanation as to why the blurry picture from a distance might be more suitable for an encyclopedia article other than "I disagree". Thanks Yagobo79 17:21, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
- One is from 2002. The other is from 2004. It's not that much more accurate. Nonetheless, I'll keep it there, since I can move mine down into the article to represent his WWE stint. Mshake3 17:24, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
- I'll also add that an off-center candid photo from a locker room is not really best for an encyclopedia article, but that's another issue. Mshake3 17:30, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
- Nothing against your photo. It's a great photo. I just think for an encyclopedia entry, you want something that is as close to a mugshot or passport photo, and as recent as possible. Mine's not perfect, but by that criteria, it is much more fitting than yours. Also his look changed quite a bit in those 2 years, and the more recent one is a lot closer to his current look. Regardless, I appreciate your flexibility. Yagobo79 03:52, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
