Scouts en Gidsen Vlaanderen (Scouts and Guides of Flanders) is a Christian, coeducational, Flemish Scout organisation in Belgium and is a member of the Guidisme et Scoutisme en Belgique/Gidsen- en Scoutsbeweging in België (GSB, Guides and Scouts Movement of Belgium).

Scouts en Gidsen Vlaanderen, is a youth movement open for all boys and girls of 6 and older, who want to play the game of scouting. Scouting is a part of their free time and has a specific method to contribute to the recreation and the education of children and young people. Week after week, year after year.

There are 160.000 scouts and guides in Belgium. More than 70.000 of them are attached to "Scouts en Gidsen Vlaanderen". The history of the Flemish catholic scouting goes back to 1913. Since then Scouts en Gidsen Vlaanderen has grown into an association of more than 650 local groups.

The way of working of Scouts en Gidsen Vlaanderen is based on five basic principles and these principles summarise our method. They are the leitmotivs in our working and are carried out in activities, according to the age of the members of a branch, a typical atmosphere and a personal approach suitable for children and young people.
