Scouting in South Australia

Scouting in South Australia in the branch of Scouts Australia in the State of South Australia. It was founded in 1908 soon after the foundation of Scouting in the United Kingdom.

There are 18 Scouting Districts in South Australia:-

  • Ardtornish
  • Barossa Light & Stanley
  • City of Salisbury
  • Eastern
  • Eyre
  • Fleurieu
  • Highlands
  • Noarlunga
  • North Western
  • Onkaparinga
  • Playford
  • Riverland
  • South East
  • Southern Flinders
  • Sturt
  • Whyalla
  • Yorke Peninsula

plus Lone Scouts - for youth too far away from a regular meeting place

South Australia has a small but active Rover branch. There currently are 13 crews which run programs at both a crew and branch level.[4]
