Scotts Peak Dam

Was one of the three component dams in the flooding of Lake Pedder in South West Tasmania. It was completed in 1973.

The dam is 43 metres high and 1067 metres long. It spans the upper reaches of the Huon River.

The dam is a rockfill dam with an upstream face of bituminous concrete, and it has a 4 metre high concrete crest wall. [1]

It was promoted along with 24 other dams as Heritage Dams by The Institution of Engineers, Australia in 2001 [2]
