Scott T. Rupp is a Republican member of the Missouri Senate, representing the 2nd District since 2006. Previously he was a member of the Missouri House of Representatives from 2002 through 2006.

is a small businessman and Missouri politician. He resides with his with his wife Natalie, daughter Noelle, and infant son Scott Jr. in Wentzville, Missouri.

Rupp is a graduate of the University of Missouri. He is the owner of Educational Funding and Financial Aid Specialists, a company that assists parents of high school students in preparing their children for college. He also owns a mortgage brokerage called Educational Financing Company, which specializes in loans for parents of college bound students. He is also involved in a variety of civic organizations and charitable causes.

He was first elected to the Missouri House of Representatives as a Republican in 2002, winning re-election in 2004. He served on the following committees:

  • Higher Education (vice chair),
  • Appropriations-Education,
  • Insurance Policy, and
  • Retirement.

Scott was elected to the Missouri Senate in a special election in April 2006 and is currently the youngest serving state senator in Missouri. He represents portions of St. Charles and Lincoln Counties. He is up for re-election in November 2006. He serves on the following committees:

  • Financial, Governmental Organizations, and Elections
  • Small Business, Insurance and Industrial Relations
  • Transportation
  • Senate Interim Committee on the Cost of a College Education
