Scott Mueller

Scott Mueller is an author of books concerning personal computers, as well as president of Mueller Technical Research, a research and training firm. [1]. Many of his books are published by Que Publishing.

One popular series of books authored by Mueller is Upgrading and Repairing PCs. The first edition was published in 1988. As of November 2007, the latest edition of this book is the 18th, ISBN 978-0-7897-3697-0. The series also has a website. The various editions have sold over two million copies since 1988, a figure which the publisher claims makes Upgrading and Repairing PCs the most popular series of PC hardware books.[2]

Mueller also has a series similar to his Upgrading and Repairing PCs, Upgrading and Repairing Laptops. It shares some of the same material as his PC books but focuses on the maintenance of portable computers. The first edition of this series is ISBN 978-0-7897-2800-5

Richard Dalton and Mueller collaborated on the IBM PS/2 Handbook. It was published in 1988 by Que Publishing. ISBN 0-88022-334-0.
