Scott Johnson (rugby coach)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Scott Johnson is an Australian rugby union coach. Johnson was assistant coach of the Wales national rugby union team under Mike Ruddock and was appointed caretaker coach following Ruddock's departure. He was assistant coach to the Australia national rugby union team for the 2007 World Cup. He was considered to be a strong favourite to join the Cardiff Blues as a skills coach following his release as the Australian assistant coach, but decided not to accept this offer. Johnson’s decision to say no to the Blues led to speculation linking him with the ambitious Ospreys. On March 20, 2008, the BBC reported that Johnson has accepted the head coaching position for the US national team.
