Scott Farlow (born 20 October 1983 in Sydney, New South Wales) is an Australian local politician and political adviser. He was elected to the Strathfield Municipality Council in 2004 and has served as Mayor of the Strathfield municipality since September 2007.
He graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Marketing, and has continued his education undertaking a law degree at the university part-time. Scott Farlow has worked for Deloitte and has worked in Federal Parliament as well as advising the former Opposition Leader in New South Wales, Peter Debnam, and current Shadow Attorney General, Greg Smith SC MP.[1]
Elected at 23 to the position of Mayor, Farlow became the youngest Mayor in the Council's history and is currently the youngest serving Mayor in Australia. Farlow has been a committed member of the Liberal Party and has previously served as President of the Party's Strathfield Conference and held other executive positions.
