Kelsey Scott Conover, born on September 27, 1968 in Neptune, New Jersey, was a professional football player.
He was raised in Freehold, New Jersey and graduated from Freehold Borough HS. He went on to attend and play football for Purdue University in Indiana. While at Purdue Scott was a defensive lineman for his first three seasons befoe being moved to offensive tackle. After one season on the offensive line he was drafted into the NFL. He had six seasons in the NFL as offensive tackle for the Detroit Lions. He also wrote a children’s book titled Can I Play Too?. Recently, Conover appeared in commercials for the Nutrisystem diet program along with Dan Marino and other retired athletes.
