Scott Cable

Scott Cable (born August 27, 1969, Charlotte, North Carolina) is a blues record producer and guitarist most noted for producing Nappy Brown's comeback record "Long Time Coming" for Blind Pig.
Cable toured and recorded with a number of notable blues acts throughout the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s. He appeared on Carey Bell's last recording Getting Up Live for Delmark Records. Cable is known for fiery, emotional blues guitar work in the vein of Magic Sam and Johnny "Guitar" Watson. Cable continues to perform and produce music with a variety of artists.
In February 2008 Cable co-produced Kenny Neal's latest release. Cable's work has also paid off as Nappy Brown's Long Time Coming was on the list for the Grammy Awards and is currently up for traditional blues record of the year via the Blues Music Awards.
