Scott Arfield (born 1 November 1988 in Dechmont , Scotland) is a Scottish football midfielder who currently plays for Falkirk.
Arfield came up through the Falkirk Academy and when he graduated he got promotion to the first team. He won the Scottish Premier League Young Player of the Month award for December 2007.[1] Arfield has been tipped by many within football to reach the highest level. The Scottish Express newspaper revealed that Manchester United were keeping a dossier on Arfield.
In February 2008 Arfield signed a new five-year contract with Falkirk. [2]
Arfield is a member of the Scotland Under-21 squad, having been called up for the first time in October 2007. [3]
