Scotscalder railway station is a railway station serving the villages of Scotscalder, Olrigmore, Calder, Westerdale and outlying areas. The area falls into the Highland council area, in the north of Scotland. The station is located on the Far North Line, within the county of Caithness.
The station, together with Georgemas Junction, serve the local communities.
As a request stop, this is the quiet kind of station where you have to stick your thumb out if you want the train to stop and pick you up.
The station house is now a private residence.
