[edit] History
The Edinburgh based hip hop group repped just about every spot in the city and further a field, from Leicester to London. For two Years Kulu's Jazz joint (Henry's Cellar Bar) was the HQ for some of the most memorable of nights.
As time elapsed, Scotland Yard Emcees became Yard Emcees, and continued to carry the torch, culminating in the Dazed and Confused/ Topshop award for music 2003 and the release of their second E.p STREETZ through One Little Indian. After hitting up London's pirate and capital radio stations, and blazing the notorious Deal Real session with Black Eyed Peas. As fate would have it, this was to be the final swansong as Yard Emcees, as life and evolution dictated they go their separate ways.
In recent years MC Profisee, alongside DJ/Producer Vigilante, has released an EP with his new project Great Ezcape, as well as still pursuing other solo projects. Profisee also appeared on two tracks from Hexstatic's 2007 album, When Robots Go Bad.
