Location of Scotch Irish Township in Rowan County, N.C.

Scotch Irish Township is one of fourteen townships in Rowan County, North Carolina, United States. The township had a population of 1,751 according to the 2000 census.

Geographically, Scotch Irish Township occupies 35.22 square miles in northwestern Rowan County. There are no incorporated municipalities in Scotch Irish Township. The township's northern boundary is with Davie County and its western border is with Iredell County.
