With regard to my recent edits of Konrad Dannenberg (a living person), the previous edits of his biography contained potentially libelous material implying he was either a current Nazi or a Nazi sympathizer. It even contained a list of potential war criminals with his name on it, and references to articles such as "Nasa's Nazis" by Linda Hunt who paints all German rocket team members with a broad Nazi brush. To make matters worse, the reference material, as biased as it was, didn't say what they said it did. The person or persons making these edits were trying very hard to portray him in a very biased and negative light. They were warned by others to remove this material and didn't so I contacted Mr Dannenberg (a person I had previously never met) myself to inform him he had been libeled on Wikipedia to see how he felt about it. After a long conversation I took it upon myself to remove the offending material at his request and replace it with an expanded biography.
Mr Dannenberg is among the least controversial of the German rocket team and no other rocket team member, including even Arthur Rudolph, had a bio as negative as Konrad Dannenberg's. Just look at Ernst Stuhlinger and Krafft Ehricke's bio for comparison. Wikipedia articles are supposed to presented from a neutral point of view. Tabloid style articles do not belong here.
