User talk:Scientific Resources
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I oppose the deletion or editing of this page as it currently exists. In doing a research article, I was able to find and verify the information and data in this article and found it to be viable and accurate. Since "Christopher Chacon" was NOT the author of the article, I cannot see how it can be considered as "Self Promotion". I strongly suggest that we keep the article as it currently is, until further information can be added. THANK YOU.
- You seem to be unaware of certain aspects of how Wikipedia works. I would strongly encourage you to read Help:Contents/Getting started. A few random points:
- Wikipedia articles can be edited by anyone, and you cannot stop them from editing the article away from the version you prefer. You do not own your contributions.
- Discussion related to an article should go on that article's talk page. In this case, your above comment should be placed on Talk:Christopher Chacon. You can add it easily by clicking on the + button near "edit this page" at the top.
- You should sign your posts on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~). This is very convenient for others reading, so that they might know who's saying what. --Infophile (Talk) (Contribs) 22:37, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
Thank you for your feedback. - I fully understand that Wikipedia can be edited by anyone. I was not trying to stop anyone from editing, I was only responding to the NOTE on the page which was stating that the article should be deleted. - I will add my above thoughts onto "Christopher Chacon's" Talk Page. - I will also sign my name as you suggestedScientific Resources (talk) 22:51, 8 April 2008 (UTC) THANK YOU
