Since 1961, the people of Junction City, Oregon have celebrated their Scandinavian heritage by transforming their downtown in to it's own charming old world town. For one week in August, people from all over the country come to interact in the activities and authentic Scandinavian spirit. Their are many craft booths including: rosemalling, hardanger, pottery, woodcrafts, needle work, and original paintings, drawings, and watercolors. What reallt brings poeple to this Festival though, is the authentic Scandanavian food. From chocolate dipped cream puffs to the forever favorite Aebelskiver, (swedish pancake ball) the food is deliciously worthy of your time!
