[edit] Some things that should be mentioned

This book is strongly supportive of the orthodox Catholicism of its day. The visions read like carefully constructed allegory, not like any kind of drug-induced stuff or like the result of some unusual mental condition. Also several of the visions describe astronomical "facts" commonly accepted at the time, which we now know to be wrong, such as the geocentric world. I don't think Wikipedia should necessarily lend unquestionable support to the theory that these are actual visions rather than a piece of faith-promoting literature. -- 85.179.119.168 (talk) 23:25, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
