SciBar Booster Neutrino Experiment (SciBooNE), is a neutrino experiment located at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab) in the USA.

SciBooNE is designed to make precise measurements of neutrino cross-sections on carbon nuclei. These measurements will be useful for the upcoming T2K experiment which will run in Japan beginning in 2009. SciBooNE will also measure the intrinsic properties of the Booster Neutrino Beam at Fermilab, which sends neutrinos to MiniBooNE.

The SciBooNE detector has three subsystems: SciBar, the EC (electron catcher) and the MRD (muon range detector). They can be seen in the event display of SciBooNE's first neutrino event. [1]

The SciBooNE collaboration is a group of almost 70 scientists from 19 institutions in six countries (Italy, Japan, Korea, Spain, UK and USA). [2]
