Stagecoach in Chesterfield
Hi
About the Stagecoach in Chesterfield article (other bus operators particularly) - Are there any First buses in Chesterfield, andd if so which ones are they?
--Ted Ted 19:43, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
As you added the link I thought there were, but looking at their timetables their South Yorkshire services do not seem to run south into Chesterfield.

Hello, Schumi555. An automated process has found and removed an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, and thus is being used under fair use that was in your userspace. The image (Image:BNPsmall.gif) was found at the following location: User:Schumi555. This image or media was attempted to be removed per criterion number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media was replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. Please find a free image or media to replace it with, and or remove the image from your userspace. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 06:46, 15 May 2007 (UTC)

I noticed that you've put Pronto at the top of the list. Generally, when a list is in alphanumeric order, numbers come before words.
Hope this helps Ted Ted 19:36, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

- We have a Fiji rugby task force that focus on Fiji related rugby union articles.
- Our requests page has extensive lists of requested articles.

Your RFA
Schumi555, I have WP:SNOW closed your request for adminship as it was most unlikely to be successful. I suggest reading Wikipedia:Guide to requests for adminship and waiting a few months before attempting a new RfA. Regards, Húsönd 00:06, 19 August 2007 (UTC)

WikiProject Rugby union national team Improvement Drive
We need your help! Here is what you can do:
- Adopt a national rugby union team article and collaborate with other members to improve it.
- Find, create and upload free images that will help improve these articles.
- Copy-edit, reference, and expand articles when and where you can.
- Promote the project and encourage others to join.
The World Cup is fast approaching and these articles are going to get a lot more hits during the tournament. It would be great if we could have them at a high standard!
For more information see the discussion on the WikiProject Rugby union talk page here.

Hasland Junior School
I agree that the other article shows even less evidence of notability than the Hasland article. I will propose its deletion as well. If you can improve the article on Hasland, great, but in the meantime one can only judge an article based on what's there, not what someone says is going to be there, no? I'm not against giving an article a chance, but I don't think every bloody school in the world merits an article, either. I've been wrong before, but we'll see how the AfD discussion goes. --Finngall talk 18:56, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
- Schumi555, You've done very nice work for the Hasland Junior School article. I'd like to apologize for my comments I made directed at you. Reviewing what I said:
-
- "Some advice: look for things that have been written ABOUT the school from independent sources, things that were not wrtten BY the school. Look for things written about the HISTORY of the school and it's contributions to the local scene there - when was it founded? Who built it? Are there any notable people that attended? Any notable controversies involving the school?. Attack this with the mindset that this "junior school" article could one day be a Featured Article, as all articles should be striving for!"
-
- After rereading this, I feel my comments come off a bit condescending towards you (as if you don't know how to cite or find good sources) and that was NOT my intention. My error was assuming you were a newer editor, which you are obviously not, and had I simply looked at your userpage, I would have worded my suggestions much differently. So again, my apologies --Keeper | 76 18:46, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

- - Hello there, keeper76 here. Got your question on my talk page, and I'm afraid I don't have a good answer for you. I can't find any reference (as I'm sure you've also looked) for citing a personal interview correctly. My general feeling is that the specific info you got from the headmaster wouldn't pass a verifiability test if challenged. I did find an interesting essay about hearsay at this link that says that your "interview" is acceptable as personal knowledge of a subject, (see the "indirect knowledge" bit) but if the info that you added is challenged by another editor, you'd have to produce corroborating evidence to whatever the headmaster said (in other words, find out where he found out what he knows). On another note, I've now read the entire current version of this article, and I will say that it is one of the most complete "junior school" articles that I've found. Most are severely lacking. I can't imagine this article being challenged for lack of anything including sources, or content, or POV issues. You've made a very nice thorough article, IMO. If this ever gets nominated for deletion, let me know I'll put in my thoughts at the AfD again. Keeper | 76 15:19, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Formula 1 records
Hi. I see you updated the tables this afternoon. Do you think Races Entered and Races Started should be divided now? Today Fisichella just reached the same number of starts than Alboreto... What do we make of that? Cheers. JimboB 21:50, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
Picture behind the Wikipedia logo
Inspired by the Union Flag being embossed behind the Wikipedia logo on your and Kiano's Wikipedia userpages, do you think it would be a good idea to do a similar thing for normal articles?
For example, the Derbyshire flag for Derbyshire articles, the Cornish flag for Cornwall articles, etc.
The Union Flag could be used for articles about Britain as a whole, rather than a specific area, unless there isn't a suitable image available. (also Canadian flag for Canada articles, etc.) Ted Ted 17:43, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

The user in question did not remove an AFD notice. He removed a prod notice, something that is allowed under the rules of prod. There's a difference between the two processes. Just letting you know. --UsaSatsui (talk) 20:38, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
