[edit] Wailing Caverns

Hi Schlagwerk. G4 is one of the speedy deletion criteria (General, number 4), and means that the article in question has been deleted before. If you take a look at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Deadmines, you can see that Wailing Caverns was nominated for deletion before, and the concensus was to delete it. Let me know if you have any further questions. Cheers. --Fang Aili talk 14:30, 4 August 2006 (UTC)

No problemo. :) --Fang Aili talk 00:58, 6 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Now I need some help!

About joining a WikiProject, how does one go about joining? Should I contact the project creator / someone already in the project? In particular, I want to know how to join WP:ALBUMS. I searched about joining (in general) and I really didn't get anything. :(

Ah, it's all a bit confusing, at first. For the most part, it rarely hurts anything to just leap in and start helping out -- in the particular case of WP:ALBUMS, I don't actually see any membership section, which leads me to believe that they don't keep one (in other words, just help out and people will notice you, eh?). Some WikiProjects do keep membership lists; for the most part, you'd just add yourself to the list (protocol varies). When in doubt, it never hurts to ask at the talk page. :) Thanks for coming around, and happy editing. Luna Santin 04:35, 27 August 2006 (UTC)
A members list has just been created at Wikipedia:WikiProject Albums/Participants. Feel free to add your name. Jogers (talk) 11:22, 3 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Girls Suck But You Don't

Hi there. The main reason I removed that text was because I felt it read like a biased review from an opinionated music publication. I don't consider Wikipedia to be the place for such things, which is why I deleted it. In addition, it also seemed to contain a lot of superfluous information that seemed largely irrelevant. Seeing as other projects and databases already contain much of this "trivia", not to mention the fact that most other albums with articles on here have very concise data listing their release date, genre, track content and maybe the odd note, I don't see why this particular album ought to have precedence over them. 80.177.20.202 19:32, 20 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fair Use Images

The Fair Use Policy specifically states that fair use images are not to be used in non-article namespace, such as you used in the userbox at User:Schlagwerk/Userboxes/user Benn Jordan. I have removed the image. --MECUtalk 22:25, 14 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:FlexingHabitual.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:FlexingHabitual.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.
