Schellat is a retired German geoscientist who was active in laterite research for many decades. Studies of laterites, bauxites and lateritic nickel ores were conducted in numerous tropical countries resulting in many publications. Nowadays I observe present laterite activities by help of Google. Recently I discovered Wikipedia and I am pleased if I could help a little by improving articles in my field of interest. For interested geoscientists I wrote an article "An Introduction in Laterite" under www.laterite.de
