Since this refers to "inside" and "outside", and with just one Jordan curve on a sphere there's no difference, my guess is that in this case "disjoint" means that for any such curve, all of the others are on the same side; there's no "nesting". How'm I doing so far?
Since the article titled loxodrome is about loxodromes in cartography, I suspect that's not the best place for the red link to loxodromic to point to. But loxodromic is an adjective, so maybe loxodromic followed by some appropriate noun should be the target (?). Michael Hardy 00:13, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
- Wait ... I just checked again. Loxodrome is a redirect, pointing to rhumb line. Maybe it should become a disambiguation page, with links to loxodrome (cartography) and loxodrome (mathematics). Michael Hardy 00:14, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
