This page was a pale reflection of Shaper/Mechanist. Redirecting there. Alan De Smet 19:05, 26 Oct 2004 (UTC)

I removed the redirct and added a stub. I'll write a more complete article in the near future (assuming nobody beats me to it, of course). neckro 05:12, 12 Nov 2004 (UTC)

I'd like to add a reciprocal link between this page and either Adam Warren, Studio Proteus, or Dirty Pair pages, reflecting the obvious influence this novel had on Adam Warren's vision of the Dirty Pair universe. Any objections?

[edit] Ideologies Section

I added a section on Ideologies. I think Schismatrix is as much about ideologies as it is the main characters. Certainly it traces Abelard Lindsay's journey from Preservationist ideologue to pragmatic detentiste to post-humanist visionary. Many of the characters are can be taken as exemplars for different ideologies.
