Talk:Scheduling of Emmerdale
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In my TV listings magazine, and in the Radio Times which I have just checked online, the episode broadcast 29/01 was called Shot by Both Sides. However, the editor who added the title as Blood Betrayal was also correct, as this was what was displayed at the beginning of the episode. I have thus put both titles in the text with an explanatory note. I wonder whether this is a one-off or whether this has happened with previous titled episodes and I have just not noticed? Also, this is something to watch out for in the future. I have added the episode titles for the next two weeks from the Radio Times (online), so look out at the start of their broadcast and check that they have the same name. - I see that the Radio Times have now changed next week's episode title to Fair Game, which is clearly wrong, as that was the title given for this week's episode. I'm getting very confused as to why every episode seems to have two or more names (both of which, incidentally, seem to fit the episode in question, which seems to dispel the suggestion that they are just included in error). Although I am getting the "alternate titles" from the Radio Times, it is not just this magazine that is printing these titles as I have seen others doing so also. I suppose ultimately the authoratitve title is that shown at the beginning of the episode, but I'll continue to add both for now, unless anyone else has any suggestions.
