Schopp is a municipality in the district of Kaiserslautern, in Rhineland-Palatinate, western Germany.
It is located east along the B270 approximately 7 miles south of the B270 and B40 intersection, which is approximately 1 mile south of the A6, a major motorway.
The origin of the name "Schopp" is said to have come from an old shed-like building used for working on certain hobbies.
Schopp does not have any gas stations or major grocery or shopping stores.
