The Schluchsee is a reservoir lake in the district of Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald, southeast of the Titisee in the Black Forest near Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany.
The lake is used generally for bathing and sailing and is surrounded by fine beaches. The lake is often used in summer for recreations and is well-known across a wide area, including across the Swiss border. Skinny dipping is usual in some areas.
